Introduction

TSL is an established technical engineering and construction partner in North America and we continue to build and maintain strong relationships with key international clients. We have offices and established teams across Canada and the USA, under the leadership of President – Americas, Ennio Zambito.

The Data Centre asset class is still expected to grow across the North American continent and we have grown our operations in both Canada and the USA to ensure we are well placed to support the expansion of this crucial sector.

We also have strong expertise across the Food, Pharmaceutical, Logistics and Advanced Manufacturing sectors and look forward to working with clients entering into and growing within the Canadian and US markets.

TSL is acting as the technical engineering and construction partner to our sister company SmartParc, a new campus-based model of sustainable and collaborative food production.

Global clients look favourably to TSL as they seek new opportunities in North America. We are a reliable construction partner that can deliver complex projects on time and on budget, without compromise on speed or quality.

Spotlight: Delivering Faster, Smarter and at Scale Supporting the Growth of Data Centres across the United States

As artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and digital public services scale at pace, the United States is experiencing a new era of data center development. By the end of this decade, global spending on data center infrastructure is expected to reach into the trillions, with the US securing a key share of this investment.

From our US headquarters in Dallas, Texas, TSL is well placed to support the expansion of hyperscale and colocation data center partners. High-performance computing environments require greater density, more sophisticated cooling solutions, and significantly higher power loads.

We recognise that these facilities demand precision engineering, speed to market, and deep technical integration from the very start of each project. A delivery partner who can execute at pace and at scale is critical, especially given the additional complexity of securing the right energy solution and tackling issues including water usage, land availability, and skilled labour shortages.

This environment demands a specialist and experienced construction partner – one that brings both international scale and local delivery capability. One that understands how to navigate power constraints, accelerate timelines, ensure quality of execution and integrate sustainability into each project.

TSL is well-positioned at the centre of this transformation combining global expertise with on-the-ground execution across the US market.

Spotlight: Sustainable Food Production

As the North American population becomes more diversified, food purchases are also diversifying which presents an exciting opportunity for domestic food manufacturers across the continent. FCC Economics estimates that had Canadian manufacturers been able to meet the same level of domestic demand as in 2021, total sales would have been over $2.3 billion higher in 2022.

Above all, consumer demand for affordable, convenient and sustainably produced foods remains strong. Meeting sustainability demands while keeping consumer costs low and affordable will go a long way toward growing the sector.

It is with this in mind that we are especially pleased to be supporting these key aims by delivering projects across both the food and cold storage sectors in both Canada and the US.
