Building the Future of Energy Infrastructure

As the global demand for cleaner, more efficient energy continues to grow, the construction sector plays a critical role in developing the infrastructure needed to support modern energy networks.

Our construction expertise spans the full spectrum of energy generation, capture, and storage, as well as transmission and network integration. From large-scale renewable energy projects to advanced utility networks, we deliver the essential infrastructure that powers industries, cities, and communities worldwide.

We are committed to supporting the transition to clean energy solutions by constructing state-of-the-art facilities that enable the efficient production and storage of renewable power. Our capabilities include the development of next-generation battery plants, ensuring secure and scalable energy storage to balance supply and demand.

With deep expertise in delivering complex projects on time and on budget, we ensure seamless integration of energy networks across a range of environments. Through collaboration, and technical excellence, we are proud to be shaping the future of energy infrastructure—creating a more connected, sustainable world

SmartParc SEGRO Derby Heating and Cooling Private Network

TSL delivered an innovative central energy system at a cuttingedge, 155 acre food manufacturing campus in Derby.
The central energy centre (shown to the right) provides sustainable energy to all tenants through highly efficient systems operating over a PAYU (Pay As You Use) platform.
The system allows mass energy balancing across the park and reduces the carbon footprint and energy costs of all tenants.
The district cooling infrastructure using ammonia refrigerant is designed and installed to deliver a diversified cold glycol cooling duty of 11MW at -6°C across the park.
The district heating infrastructure incorporates industrial ammonia heat pumps and will recycle the refrigeration waste heat from the tenants. The system is designed to provide a diversified hot water heating duty of up to 10MW at +72°C across the park.
In total, 9.8km of insulated pipework has been installed – a scale never seen before in the food and beverage industry.
The network is a fully future-proofed energy balancing system, designed with an ability to connect future innovative technologies.
